At Over the Moon Preschool, we work together to develop a community that is kind, comfortable, and engaging for learners aged 2-5 years. We encourage long periods of uninterrupted play in both our inside classroom and our outdoor play space. This essential Montessori principal respects the individual variations to the learning process and is vital for the building of coordination, concentration, independence, and the assimilation of information. We build community and extend our learning through circle time each day and a rotating schedule of special studies: arts and crafts, music and movement, yoga, circus class at Circus Culture, and science investigations.
