Christy is phenomenal! Christy is loving, patient, and creative. She connected easily with our daughter, and they obviously have a great affection for each other. In addition, to being great with kids she has the experience and passion that make her a great teacher. She knows a million little tricks (one of which helped potty train our daughter J), and she has a million creative ideas for arts, crafts, games, and adventures. We loved our time at Over the Moon, and recommend it for anyone!

The first thing you’ll notice about Christy is her love of children and childhood. She brings a sense of wonder to her teaching that inspires her students to be curious scholars. Her practices are grounded in the latest research, as well as a commitment to authentic experiences and learning. Christy is like something kindergarten parents would create in a laboratory; she is kind, she is experienced, she works hard, and she preserves childhood. Perhaps most importantly, she truly knows each of her students. She knows their interests, their needs, and their hopes and she meets them at level, whatever it may be.

Christy Kinkhabwala taught my daughter Clare in Kindergarten. Clare thrived in Christy’s classroom! The friendly atmosphere Christy created enabled Clare to feel at home and to learn in an effective and enjoyable way. She was able to make friends, play and grow in an environment that was child-centred. Christy encouraged our daughter’s emerging skills as a reader, storyteller and artist! I wish Christy the best of luck in her new nursery school!Grainne MacRae, Bangkok, Thailand
Christy is a dream educator and mother. From the moment you meet her it is evident the love she has for children. She is kind, patient and hard-working. During my time working with her at the International School of Dakar, Senegal I was lucky enough to observe Christy creating fun activities for the children that incorporated adventure, risk-taking and exploration. She knows how to make learning fun, exciting and meaningful. Consider your child fortunate if they have a place at Over the Moon!Tracy Hill, former co-worker and Middle School Learning Coach at the American School of Riyadh
